So here in New England we got quite a lot of snow. Quinnipiac Law had all of its classes cancelled yesterday in anticipation of how bad it was going to be. I think it was a good move. We’ve had over 34 inches of snow in the past 24 hours. take a look.

Hey! A few questions. I might be heading to QL this fall. I received a competitive scholarship offer from them, contingent upon maintaining ranking in the top 50% of the class. Based on the individual grading system and class size, would you say this is difficult to do? Also, what is your weekly schedule like? Thanks! Hope to see you in Hamden.
Well at QU there are two sections of students. The majority of scholarship recipients are placed into the same section, while a small minority of scholarship kids are placed with regular students in the other section. If you’re in the scholarship heavy section, hitting 50% will be more difficult, as each section is graded on its own curve. QU uses a B-/C+ median for its curve.
As for the weekly schedule, your 1L schedule is determined for you. You typically have 2-3 classes a day Monday through Friday with one easier day somewhere in there of just one course.
Feel free to e-mail me any specific questions or if none of that made sense or you need clarification. scottkgoldsmith@gmail.com
