Well, I’ve gotten my class schedule for this fall. All my classes are in the same room, except for Legal Writing, so that should make life simple. I was pretty afraid I’d have some awful 8am classes since the law school picks schedules for 1Ls. Safe to say my earliest is 10am!
I’ve got Contracts, Civil Procedure, Torts, Criminal Law, and Legal Writing this fall. Torts is a lovely 4 credit hours, so we’ll see how that pans out. We’ve got two days of orientation at QU too, but it seems the second day is more for friends and family and only lasts until around noon. So one day, I can’t complain. I just hope it’s more productive than my undergraduate orientation. Now I’ve just got to figure out when I’m going to track down all the books I need. If anyone has any opinions on whether or not it’s typically okay to get an edition that’s a little older let me know, I know they can be significantly cheaper.
*Oh, and good luck to all you June LSAT takers. I hear scores are starting to come out!

Hope all goes well for you, Scott! I decided to work for a while before I go. You’ll have to let me know if the 1L experience is truly as bad as everyone claims! Best of luck!
Very jealous right now. I don’t think my school hands out the schedule until orientation so I can’t buy books online for better deals. I’m stoked for my 1L year– and looking forward to reading about your journey as well!
It’s finally happening for both of us! I’m pretty excited and a bit nervous.
